The SI MARES store is committed to providing equal service to all customers and to improving the browsing experience for people with disabilities. We work to make this website accessible in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Act, 1998, and its Service Accessibility Regulations, 2013.

The site was made accessible in accordance with Israeli Standard IS 5568 for web content, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at conformance level AA.

Accessibility features on the site

• The site is built with standard semantic structure and supports full keyboard navigation (Tab key).
• A "Skip to content" link is present at the top of every page.
• Clear focus indication on every operable element.
• Support for screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) with alternative text for images and accessible labels.
• A directional layout adapted to each language — right-to-left for Hebrew and left-to-right for English.
• Standard color contrast between text and background.

The accessibility menu

Every page includes an accessibility button (also opened with the keyboard shortcut Alt + A) that lets you personalise your browsing experience:

• Invert colors and grayscale display
• Increase text size and line spacing
• Highlight links and headings
• Switch to a readable font
• Enlarge the mouse cursor
• Stop animations and motion

This menu is a comfort tool for adapting the display to your preferences only; it does not replace the accessibility built into the site itself.
